About Us
Anesco CC was established in August 1961 as a Shell fuel retailer and general repair shop in Paulpietersburg, South Africa. Over the years, the company has grown and diversified, becoming a prominent player in the agricultural and automotive sectors. Its evolution is a testament to the vision, innovation, and hard work of its leadership.
In September 1967, Anesco expanded its operations by obtaining the International Harvester Agricultural Tractor and Implement Franchise, as well as the Soilmaster Implement Franchise. This marked the beginning of Anesco’s involvement in the agricultural machinery market.
By October 1978, Mr. Heinz Hambrock joined Anesco with a 12.5% shareholding. This partnership flourished, and in 1990, Heinz Hambrock became the sole owner of Anesco CC, solidifying his leadership and vision for the company’s future.
1979 marked another key milestone when Anesco began its partnership with Toyota, further expanding its offerings to include renowned vehicles alongside agricultural machinery.
In March 1993, International Harvester was acquired by Invicta Holdings, trading as Northmec, and Anesco continued its focus on farming machinery under the CaseIH and Northmec franchises, reinforcing its presence in the agricultural sector.
As business grew, Anesco faced the challenge of limited space for its growing operations. To accommodate this, in 2005, Anesco purchased adjacent property at 48 Mark Street, where a new Case Service Centre, parts division, and showroom were established to better serve its customers and improve operational efficiency.

In 2018, Anesco CC took a significant step in its strategic development by restructuring into three distinct companies:
- Anesco Toyota (PTY) Ltd
- Anesco Shell (PTY) Ltd
- Anesco Case (PTY) Ltd
This restructuring allowed the business to streamline its operations and focus on individual strengths in the automotive and agricultural sectors.

Leadership
In January 2005, Mr. Carlo Hambrock, the son of Heinz Hambrock, joined the company. Carlo currently serves as the Dealer Principal of Anesco Toyota, while he and his father share responsibility for overseeing the operations of Anesco Shell and Anesco Case. The leadership team is committed to continuing the legacy of service excellence, innovation, and customer satisfaction that has defined Anesco for over six decades.
